Good Friday

This day was made for you and me
Before our existence came to be.
His love and grace He shared with all
regardless how He knew we'd fall.

This sacrifice to give His life
a master plan to end the strife,
That caused us to be far from Him
to cleanse and restore all lost from sin.

This day was not a day of sorrow,
It resembled a "Hope for Tomorrow"
For through the stripes and blood He shed
He brought us all, back from the dead.

Who'd ever thought a wooden cross
Would resemble such a cause.
With joy and praises let us sing
To our Redeemer, Christ our King.
