The Ripples of Life

The water was still, so calm and serene
but with simply a touch it was changed
And all things that rested so peaceful on top
the waves from my touch rearranged

Just like those ripples that reached far away
from the little spot where they began
Only God knows all the lives we will touch
when we reach out to our fellow man

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
