What Christmas means to me

by Pearl Leona Sturgis

Church bells ring and snow is falling down.
Holly wreaths now hang all over town.
Christmas lights are blinking red and blue.
Lord, Christmas can't be Christmas without You.

There was never Christmas till the Savior came that day.
Think about the Baby in the Manger far away.
He was born in Bethlehem to die for you and me.
So it's how our Christmas came to be.

Jesus is the reason Christmas happened from the start.
I remember Christmas with my Savior in my heart.
God sent down His Only Son to set the whole world free.
This is just what Christmas means to me.
