Today's the Day Happy Mother's Day.
Words from your son, from his heart let him say.
Where do I start with all that we've been thru?
Many days that are grey and many days turning blue.
You've been through thick, and I've been through thin.
Hoping and praying that God may win.
From the depths of the valleys to the peak of the mountains
Unconditional love like the abundance of fountains.
Thank you for the times you never left my side.
You could have shut the door, "Dear Son Goodbye."
You told me the path I shouldn't choose.
Road to destruction drugs money and booze.
Yes you were right, and of course I was wrong.
Bringing in misery, my Mom staying strong.
Standing on faith, and praying all day.
The Lord hath heard, look at me today.
I know you'll be here until the very end.
With the crashing of waves to the rushing of winds.
Bonding together in happiness we'll stay
Dear Mom I love you, Happy Mother's Day.
