Falling and completely lost
About to pay such a high cost
Needed someone to intervene
Then you arrived on the scene.

No light in our hearts
Despair wouldn't depart
Tears would flow like a river
Then along came our saviour.

Didn't have any happiness at all
No-one around to prevent our fall
Reaching paradise didn't seem a reality
But then you caused it to be.

You broke all our yokes
You are our Lord of Hosts
Your sacrifice allowed us to partake
Of every blessing our Heavenly Father makes.

But you foiled his plans
