GOD GAVE US CHRIST

by Roland Crim © 2017

For love of man, the Father did give,
His Son, Christ, that we might live.
Christ was born, and lay in a manger,
To some a Savior, to many a stranger.
Joseph and Mary, how could they know,
That to this world the Son would show
The truth that settles the heart
So from the Father we’re not apart.
He came to earth lowly and meek
For the humble in heart to seek.
He told us that we must seek God first
To read the word, to have the thirst.
We are to give all to the Father,
And not spend time to worry and bother,
Of ourselves and our desires,
But of the Kingdom to aspire.

1 John 1:7-9

" But if we walk in the light,
as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ
his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness."
