I Can Remain

I cannot change,
what God has planned
but I can remain . . .
faithful in my stand.

I cannot change,
what is God’s will
but I can remain . . .
peaceful and still.

I cannot change,
God’s directions
but I can remain . . .
ready for corrections.

I cannot change,
God’s heart divine
but I can remain . . .
clinging to the vine.

I cannot change,
what God may send
but I can remain . . .
faithful to the end!
