His Strength

The joy of the Lord is my strength
And in Him I will come to rest
He is my strength in my weakness
MY shield in my trials and test.

I thank My Lord, Jesus Christ
For He took me back to the start
Of when I came before Him
With a hopeless, broken heart.

He allowed me to relive this pain
That once consumed my soul
to remind me where He took me from
and it's Him, who's in control.

The Lord renewed my soul and mind
New strength He's given me
To overcome these battles
And walk victoriously.
