Tattered Wings and All

Are you one of His sparrows,
with a broken wing . . .
are you one of the ones
who with the world had a fling?

Did you in your flight,
make a wrongful turn
and now all you want
is into His arms return?

Are you one of His sparrows,
who left His safe nest
are you one of the ones
who now can’t find any rest?

Did you get carried off,
on the winds of greed
and now you want back
into His good heed?

Calling all broken sparrows,
tattered wings and all . . .
Jesus wants to heal you
from the effects of your fall!
