Waves.

by mike bullock
https://ploosh61.wordpress.com

Mounds of seaweed, piles of sand
Lay dormant on the shore
Then the waves come crashing in
The defects are no more
The beach is back to normal
Untouched by human hand
How I wish that could be me
Devoid of worldly strand.

Holy Spirit wash me clean
As I invite You in
To scour and purge my iffy bits
That cause myself to sin
I am a new creation
Each time I have a wash
Please help me lose some sin each time
All my desires to quash.
