Eternally

by RDickerson

Be still my heart, take refuge,
In He who is my king.
He prepares my way before me,
And hears me when I sing.
In Psalms and in thanksgiving,
His ear He turns to me.
Be still my heart, take refuge,
Beneath His loving wing.

Fear not my heart, find courage,
Behind His Holy walls.
Stand firm upon the promise of
A King who cannot fall.
In a strong and mighty tower,
Well-guarded you will be.
Fear not my heart, take courage;
Proclaim His victory.

Rise up my heart, triumphant,
Is He who holds your key.
Your husbandman-provider,
The vine from which you feed.
Your warrior, your Lion,
Protector, sure and strong,
Rise up my heart, triumphant,
In Him do you belong.

Find peace my heart, find comfort,
In His Son; His Holy word.
His promises are yours to keep,
Unfailingly assured.
His grace; it is sufficient.
His love; it is complete.
Find peace my heart, find comfort,
In Him, eternally.
