Grace To The Humble

by Deborah Ann Belka © 2016

When trials blow,
me to the ground
when my cares
take me down.

Before I rise,
back to my feet
I pray to God
my needs to meet.

When storms blow,
through my door
when my worries
take me to the floor.

Before I get,
to my legs back
I pray to God
for the grace I lack.

For, in my life,
to God I've found
to humble myself
when I am down!

James 4:6

"But he giveth more grace.
Wherefore he saith,
God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace
unto the humble."
