Upon the crest of earthly woe,
I ride life's tide to and fro.
Who knows where the waves shall go,
Far beyond a shattered dream?
If I shall stumble along the way
I pray I have the will to say
I've eagle's strength to live each day!
My breathing anthem's theme.
Valley of death I may land
Or drowning within a sea of sand
Boundaries made by His own hand.
Quenched by an endless stream.
Carried upon Christ's mighty wings
He'll restore my spirit 'til it sings
Praise to God my King of Kings,
Father, sovereign supreme.
