CHRISTmas is Christ

CHIRSTmas is Christ,
no matter what they say
it’s all about Jesus
being born on this day.

It’s not about Santa,
or reindeer on the roof
it’s not about the clatter
of their little, tiny hoofs.

CHRISTmas is Christ,
the Babe, the Child, the Man
it’s all about the Savior
and God’s salvation plan.

It’s not about decorations,
trees or special lights
it’s not about the sales
or our out-of-town flights.

CHRISTmas is Christ,
the Lamb, our Hope, the Rock
it’s about the Price of Peace
and hearing Jesus knock.

It’s not about the presents,
its only about receiving one
for CHRISTmas is Christ
God’s gift to everyone!
