The sound of Your name upon my lips
The Spirit washing over me
Freedom from chains that bound my soul
I'm no longer blind for now I see!

The day I gave my life to Christ
The day I laid it all at His feet
The feeling of joy that came over me
I want to shout it out on the street!

I want to praise His name out loud!
I feel like raising my hands up high
To worship Jesus with all my heart
To shout for joy I feel I could fly!

Some say no decent Christian should
If I don't I think I'll detonate
I can't contain this inside of me
I am free from sin's laden weight!
