Step of Faith

Lord,I step out in faith in your precious name.
I do it for love, not money or fame
I rebuke all the shyness that has held back my praise
I'm gonna run in your spirit and my hands I will raise
Satan has tried to tell me that I'm ashamed and I'm not shy
I love my Lord to my death, to someone else he can tell that lie
I gladly speak of my Lord, just look you'll see I've changed
Because of him my heart's now open,my life's been rearranged
I mostly praise in silence, but hey, that's just my style
When the Lord lays his hands on me you're gonna think that I've gone wild
I feel his spirit rising, it's building up inside
When the Lord says go Jeff, it's gonna be an amazing ride
Jesus knows I have knee problems and in his name he says to run
For the glorifying of his name by the miracle he has done
The Lord is saying to me, I am freeing you from this chain
I am filling you with boldness for, son, I've seen your pain
All you do is walk in faith, surrender to my will
Then I will take control and give you nerves of steel
Lord, I know I have come far and to you I give the glory
Only with your help do I have the strength to tell my story
Without you, Jesus, I am nothing on my own
Thank you, Lord, for using me to make your glory known
Jesus knows I've been real quiet and says it's time to speak my mind
When I keep my thoughts on Jesus the truth is what I find
I pray that God will lead my words so his will is done
And that his words will reach lost souls even if it's only one
