This Day I Choose!

I choose to not let disappointments rule me this day
I choose to not carry burdens I send them the Lords way
I choose to go to my knees instead bearing on my own
I will lay all my troubles down at my Savior's Throne

I will not let words of dismay be uttered from these lips
I choose to lift up my friend and not fall into Satan's grips
I choose to serve my Savior and to take upon the cross
I'll not let this world cover me with its scum or its dross

The pain and gloom it brings is more sorrow and despair
Jesus paid the price so this burden is not ours to bear
Each day you can make a decision, it is a choice of your own
To carry misery or lay troubles down at the Saviors throne.
