Great Day of His Wrath

by Robert Comer
https://comerfamily.webs.com

Last night I dreamed that Heaven opened
And I could see the KING OF KINGS!
I could hear the FATHER tell him,
"The time has come to end all things"

He who was dead, and now liveth.
Whom God made flesh! His holy Word!
And on his thigh, written pure and holy,
KING OF KINGS, and LORD OF LORDS!

Oh what joy flashed before me!
"Hallelujah!" from the Angel choir.
He sat tall on his white Stallion!
His eyes were like a flame of fire!

I could see as He left Heaven,
In the clouds He appeared at the blink of an eye.
Millions arose as graves were opened.
His Saints in white filled the sky.

"To God be honor, praise and glory"
"Praise be to Jesus, He is worthy" they cried.
Their sins washed away in his holy blood.
It was for these Saints in white, He died.

In my dream Earth came before me.
There was no such joy here to find.
Only heartache, misery and anguish.
For all on Earth were left behind.

Men were searching for their loved ones.
There was total chaos in the streets.
Many now wished they'd turned to Jesus.
There was weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I cried as I watched in total horror.
As evil men waxed worse and worse.
God had sent them strong delusion.
And they mocked God, and welcomed his curse.

They worshiped the one who embodies evil.
Six, six, six is the number of his name.
The prideful stood and glorified Satan.
Cursing God. No fear! No shame!

Finally, I awoke in fear and trembling.
Praising Jesus, God's holy Lamb!
For surely, the great day of his wrath shall come.
And who will be able to stand?
