His Perfect Peace

The fog has all but lifted,
the clouds have gone their way.
The Son is warmly beaming,
on my life today.

The darkness is finally gone,
His light is now what I see.
At this very moment,
His mercy is shinning down on me.

He has given me a clear blue sky,
and has dried up all my tears.
He did what He has promised,
and has taken away my fears.

Oh, glory to my gracious Lord,
for His perfect peace and rest.
Next time these clouds of doubt roll in,
my faith shall pass the test!
