Rest

There are places in the sea
That calls deep unto deep
Where nothing disturbs it
And peace is yours to keep.

I dream of this place
A place that will never wake
Not even a ripple stirs
Could it be heaven's lake?

Find it in your soul
An abyss without end
A sanctuary just for you
To seek your one true friend.

Oh, who is this true friend?
That waits in your depth
When down, down you fall
Through endless tears He wept.

Find it in your soul
As you search deep within
Serene, quiet, peace, rest
At last…Rest in Him.
