"Good Tidings Of Great Joy"

God promised to send a Messiah
To save mankind from their sin.
In God's great love, he sent His Son,
Born to die for the sins of men.

To lowly shepherds one night,
The angels announced Jesus' birth,
They brought good tidings of joy,
For the Savior was born on earth.

Jesus came from heaven to earth
To seek and save those who are lost.
He suffered and died to pay for our sin.
For us, He willingly paid the great cost.

Christ Jesus had victory over death.
Praise God! He did not stay dead.
On the third day, He arose again.
Yes, Jesus arose just like He said.

Jesus is in heaven at God's right hand.
There he intercedes for you and me.
If we accept Jesus as our Savior,
We are forgiven and sin set free.

Do you have eternal salvation?
It is the greatest free gift of all.
