Observations and Best Wishes

I watch you each day absorbed in your tasks.
I see how you labor in love for your class.
I admire the work ethic on display
Molding your students like potter's clay.

Your life is united with Christ, our Lord,
The One who gives us a life restored.
You teach the glories of His grace;
His imprint upon the human race.

I know you do it because you are called;
Your selfless commitment is Spirit-installed.
Your life is distinguished by God's control
To Him is given your heart and soul.

I know our Lord is pleased with you;
The way your love and devotion shine through.
Though we grow weary our work is not done
Til that Glorious Day when He says, "Well done."

So as we enjoy this Christmas season
Proclaiming Christ as the special reason,
Please know that we who work with you
Are grateful for friendship and all that you do.

May your hearts be filled with the warmth of His love,
May your mind be tuned to the throne room above,
May your spirit rejoice in the gift of salvation
As you build your life on His sure foundation.
