Today

What is Today to you?
Do you wait for tomorrow?
In wonder of this life
And time you might borrow?

What is Today to you?
Have you listened for His voice?
He longs to be your Father
But have you made the choice?

What is Today to you?
For tomorrow may never come
Because Today is what we have
Maybe not even that for some!

What is Today to you?
Have you and Jesus met?
For your Today is nothing
If you have not found Him yet.

What is Today to you?
I pray that you might see
Then at last invite Him in, share
Christ, from Today-to all eternity!

Psalm 34 18: "The Lord is near to the
brokenhearted and saves those who are
crushed in spirit".
