Help me Jesus!

What will thou have me to do Lord
this question to you I bring
please show me your will now Lord
so that I may continue to sing.

Inside is some confusion
and I cannot see your face
you must help me Jesus
while I run this pilgrim race.

I attempt to read your word Lord
but it's so difficult to think
and the feeling deep within me
is that I'm going to sink!

Then a call comes ringing
from a sister in distress
who too needs clear direction
perfect peace and your sweet rest.

So, as I ask you Lord this question
what will thou have me to do
it's clear I must think of others
bring them daily in prayer before you.
