Jigsaw

by mike bullock
https://ploosh61.wordpress.com

The jigsaw sits upon your table
It's completion coming near
Sadly, one piece has absconded
Fills you full of dread and fear
Everything looks fine and dandy
Except this piece, it must be found
All that patient jigsaw building
Has come crashing to the ground.

Life can be just like that jigsaw
You have everything you want
Still there's something that is missing
Lack of peace is sure to haunt
Jesus is that piece that's absent
He completes your empty hole
There's no proper life without Him
He will soothe your aching soul.
