I Dreamt About A Man Last Night

I dreamt about a man last night whose
eyes could only see,
Not all of the evil in this old world
but only the good in me.

He never meant for Christmas to be for just a day,
It's a heart-breaking situation that things turned out that way.

He told me in my dream "if you will follow me,
I will give you riches your eyes cannot see."

Of all the presents you can receive love is the one to seek,
The love I have to offer is given freely but only to the meek.

The lights, the cards, the carols to man is ecstasy,
But the true meaning of Christmas can be had by all for free.

Yes, I dreamt about a man last night not like you and me,
He isn't interested in presents but only in you and me.
