A Cry

It all started with a cry
So fast and furious life began
Not knowing the end was near
Through it all I ran and ran.

It all started with a cry
But one day I fell to the ground
The trip detoured, no place to go
Cried deep within, until I found.

It all started with a cry
Then I asked God to be my friend
He came to me and took my hand
To begin a life without an end.

I felt Him move inside my heart
From my lips came one last sigh
A beginning, oh the beginning began
It all started with a cry!
