Wake Up America

Wake up America!
Why can't we see,
We are one nation under God,
The land of the free?

The Stars and Stripes,
Raised in the sky,
It should always be honored
It should be held on high.

We are the home of the brave,
Those who bled and died,
Laying down their lives,
So our freedoms are not denied.

Let's not trample through the blood,
Of those that were slain,
Like it means nothing,
Like it was in vain.

We should stand united,
From state to state,
But we have become divided,
We live with such hate.

Our beautiful country,
It's been torn apart,
Because of evil,
That's rooted in the heart.

Where is the love,
We should have for one another?
We should defend our country,
Every sister and brother.

We need to pray to God,
For healing of this land,
To live peacefully together,
So united we can stand.
