"A Prayer for Peace"

In a world beset by chaos and strife
Where hearts are burdened, longing for life
A prayer arises, seeking peace's embrace
A balm for weary souls, a haven of grace.

May the Lord of peace, with gentle hand
Bestow upon us peace, a gift so grand
In every way, in every season
May His peace pervade, beyond all
reason.

Fear not, troubled hearts, let worry subside
For the peace of Christ in you shall reside
Not as the world gives, fickle and fleeting
But a peace unshakeable, ever defeating.

Be perfect, be of good comfort, unite
In one accord, let peace be your guide
For the God of love and peace shall abide
With hearts entwined, His presence inside.

Endeavor to keep the Spirit's unity
Bound together in peace, a sacred decree
With hearts attuned to heavenly accord
In peace, we find strength, in peace, we move forward.

Oh, Lord, keep us in perfect peace
As our minds stay steadfast, our trust shall increase
In You alone, we place our reliance
And find perfect peace in Your holy alliance.

Just as Jesus spoke, "Peace be with you all"
May His words resonate, embracing the call
To carry His peace, His love, and His grace
To a world in need, seeking solace's embrace.

Let us pursue peace, and holiness too
For without them, the Lord we shall not view
With peace as our guide, let kindness prevail
In every interaction, let love's light trail.

May the peace of God rule our hearts so true
As one body, called, united anew
In gratitude, we gather, hearts ablaze
For the peace of God, we offer endless praise.

With joy and peace abounding in believing
Through the Holy Spirit's power, hope receiving
May we abound in hope, each day anew
In the God of hope, whose promises are true.

The Lord's blessings upon you, shining bright
Keeping and protecting you day and night
May His gracious countenance upon you rest
And in His peace, may you be forever blessed.

So let us seek the peace that He imparts
In prayer and faith, let peace fill our hearts
For the Peace of God, a divine decree
Is the beacon of hope for you and me.
