King of Kings and Lord of Lords

by T Rock © 2023

Stand in the light of the coming Kingdom
Look up; there shines a promise He will come
It is faith, not fear, that will unite your soul
Seeking forgiveness and belief, God's only toll

Loving words filled with truth and candor
Gifted to the masses by the one true commander
New life, the path He marked with His blood
Washed in the water, it will come as a flood

Racing through the darkness on a white horse
Wrath for all who chose the wrong course
Called Faithful and True, he judges and makes war
The faithful know His name and what is in store

He is the Savior, the mighty Word of God
Striking down nations where once evil trod
Mountains will crumble, plagues will befall
Lighting will strike and disintegrate the evil-all

Ruling with a rod of iron and God's wrath
Angels followed Him, a foretold path
Heaven's armies armed with sharp swords
Shouting King of Kings and Lord of Lords

We Pray for Israel.
Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in[a] blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule[b] them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. Revelation 19:11-16
