Fighting Angels

I know all the verses
I've heard a thousand times
Yet I am fighting
Against the will of mine

Fighting unseen forces
As I go my own way
I'm fighting the very hands
That guide me every day

Ten thousand Angels may be
Watching every step I sow
I resist every warning
That tell me not to go.

Happily for some reason
In the sin I've made
Not willing to listen
Nor willing to change.

Knowing deep inside
What I need to do
Stop fighting the protection
That will see me through.
