I pray that you hold me in the palm of your hand

That you guide me by your footsteps in the sand

I pray you open my eyes to the work you have for me

That clearly the plans you have, I will be able to see

I pray that my ears will hear your words O'God

That they will resonate within; on every path I trod

I pray that your Spirit will fill my beating heart

With mercy and compassion; Your love to impart
