Creation and Christmas

by Robert Hedrick

In the beginning God created this
world and all it contained,
His creation was sinless until man
fell, making it sin stained.
Sin's wages is death, as God forewarned
before it was committed,
Now all have sinned, yet God had a
saving plan that He submitted.

While God's love for man continued,
sin wasn't allowed in His sight,
So a sacrificial blood was required
to make the sin stains white.
Animals were used til God was ready
for His Son to take their place,
His Blood was pure enough to erase
all the sins of this human race.

Then Jesus Christ came to earth on
what is now called Christmas day,
He entered in a lowly manner, born
in a stable and on a bed of hay.
There in swaddling clothes and in a
manger was man's escape from sin,
From the manger onto the cross, He
displayed His love from within.

When God created the world, He knew
there would be a Christmas day,
That He'd send His Son to earth and
with His Life our sin debt pay.
From creation until Christmas, the
bible explains God's full plan,
All that transpired then and still
does, through His love for man.
