The 1st Commandment

In Exodus He says, I am the Lord your God
I brought you out of bondage on the path you trod

I command that you shall have no other Gods before me
I am the one true God throughout eternity

I am a jealous God that wants your undivided love
For I created you and all the heavens up above

I expect for you to bow down to only me
Pray to the Lord your God when on bended knee

There is only one master that you must serve
Only one God's commandments, you must observe

I am the Creator of the entire universe
The only God with which you should converse

My love and mercy I freely give
And have allowed you on my earth to live

In return I expect your love and adoration
Your loyalty and your unfailing dedication

I sent to you my only begotten Son
Who died for your sin debt that my will be done

I've shown you love and mercy, time and time again
Without me in your life, you will not win
