Successful Endings

Each successful ending had a beginning
as we give it some thought,
Perhaps it began as a disagreement and
then a solution was sought.

As this failed, the problems increased,
going from bad to worse,
Then harsh words were spoken, leaving
many hurt feelings to nurse.

While time had passed by, it'd failed
to heal the situation at hand,
That is until another arose, requiring
the subjects to take a stand.

Standing together was the only way the
problem could be put to rest,
Then came the successful ending as this
friendship withstood the test.

Throughout the bible we see successful
endings recorded on it's pages,
There's Noah and his family who God led through trials of many stages.

Abraham's wife, Sarah, was childless as her child bearing days were done,
Until God provided a successful ending
when He gave this couple a son.

There are many more in the bible, with
one far above all the others,
That'll bring a successful end to this
life for my sisters and brothers.

By the love we're fed through the blood
shed to make us heaven bound,
Leaving life here to meet Jesus, praising
Him for the success we found.
