Witches, Warlocks, Goblins and Gooles

by Patricia Joan Polhans

Witches, warlocks, goblins and gooles
Many are instruments, Satan's tools.
Vampires, blood, guts and goo,
Why I am ashamed of all of you!

Is this my image and my likeness?
Aren't you imitating Satan's darkness?
You're none of mine, look in the mirror
Maybe you'll see things much clearer.

Have I not created you beautiful?
Yet you choose to imitate, Satan's fools.
Made in my image and after my likeness.
Yet, I see no connection with evil darkness.

Painted faces, vampires and bats
What do you think God thinks of that?
Witches and warlocks clothes you wear.
With religiosity everywhere!

Were you not told I'm a hallowed King?
Still you worship the "God" of Halloween.

II. Cor. 3:18
And we, who have 'unveiled faces' all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
