Deep Waters

There are times when I feel your tender touch
Your hand upon my brow
Hear the whisper of your words
Bringing comfort to me somehow.

I hear the gentle waters
Visualize the storms all around
The waves beat harder and harder
But I do not make a sound.

The winds and rain prevail
Waters raging to and fro
But in your arms is sweet peace
For I know you're in control.

Wrapped in your loving arms
I am safe forevermore
From the raging waters
As you carry me safely to the shore.

The waters may engulf me
And waters round me rage
But I'll be yours forever
And I will never be afraid!

You rescue me from deep waters
Carry me to the shoreline
I'll be with you forever
Until the hands of time.
