The Matrix

by mark walters

Freed from fighting with sin,
Jesus brought healing within.
It takes God's grace to survive;
For dead things float downstream,
Not ever really alive.

Where comfort zone currents,
Carry sleepers away.
Killed by sins kindness,
Unknown to the fray!

Clouding eyes that would see
Beyond this world's depravity
At rest in a worldly cocoon
Lest the light of life shine
Lest they rise from the tomb

Hear the voice of new life
Call from a far away place
A road much less traveled
One secured by His Grace!
