Be Still

Be still, My child, and know that I'm God,
don't follow the path where many have trod.
Come rest beside Me and quiet your soul.
Trust in Me always—relinquish control.
I'll show you a path that I have designed
for all your travels, and all of mankind.
The journey is marked with signs from My Son,
who gave of Himself to save everyone.
He came before you so none would be lost
and paved a pathway, at a severe cost.
A battle He fought—a battle He won—
the ransom was paid and the deed was done.
