Unending Joy

Joy is deeper than my feelings,
Joy is discovered in His blessings,
Joy not dependent on my day,
For it is centred on God's way.

Joy is knowing I am loved,
Joy is purchased by His blood,
Joy not insecure or fleeting,
For Christ is for us interceding.

Joy is making His will my preference,
Joy is found only in His presence,
Joy not disguised when things are hard,
For in Jesus; fears we can discard.
