The spiders web is woven with a special care,
carefully placed to catch strangers in its snare,
designed to trap its victims, before they are aware,
once you are caught, you will need a fervent prayer.
The spiders web is hidden from our sight,
but when confronted it fills us with a fright,
fearful that we won't escape the spiders bite,
brushing aside the web, we start a futile fight.
The devil's web is often woven much the same,
carefully hidden so he doesn't get the blame,
designed to fool his victims, filling them with shame,
distracting them from God's grace, that they ought to claim.
The Saviour's protection is given with a special care,
carefully provided to help us, with what we have to bear,
designed to release the broken, so they become aware,
once you are freed, you should be filled with thankful prayer.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
