The Road to Opportunity

The road to opportunity—
the pathway to success—
the Lord has placed before each one—
He's given each access.

It's possible that some don't see
because they're unaware.
Their eyes are closed—they're wandering
or they don't seem to care.

But those who want to "grasp the ring"
of opportunity,
will reach for it and realize
each possibility.

The road to opportunity
is filled with steppingstones.
Just look for them with open eyes
and claim them as your own.

And . . .

Be sure to thank the Lord, your God,
for granting you these gifts.
Be wise and make the most of them—
don't let them go adrift.
