I Poured My Heart Out to the Lord

I poured my heart out to the Lord,
nothing did I hide.
I told Him of my pain and fears,
things I'd kept inside.

God listened to each word I said
and did not turn from me.
Instead He filled my soul with peace
and my heart with glee.
