We are the Lord's Design

How blessed we are to serve a God
so mighty and Divine.
He takes the time to form each heart—
we are the Lord's design . . .

Each one of us are special gems—
we're diamonds in the rough
and in God's time He does refine
until it is enough.

He polishes and smooths each spot
with love, so skillfully
and when He's done each masterpiece
each gem shines brilliantly.

Yes . . .

We are the good Lord's masterpiece
we're ones that He adores,
and each of us fits in His Plan
from now 'til evermore.
