A Prayer for Exploited Children

Exploited children live in fear -
they're forced against their will.
They cry so many tears, dear Lord -
please let their hearts be still.

God, send Your mighty angels now
to lift and guard each child.
Calm their tiny, shaking limbs
and cradle them a while.

Hide the children of the world
from this evil force.
Keep them safe from harm, dear Lord,
while battles take their course.

Bless the children used as slaves -
surround them with Your peace.
Embrace them with Your love, dear Lord,
and make all hurting cease.
