The Living Water

Christ Jesus is the source of Living Water;
Yes, there is a well that never runs dry!
This Living Water is for all those who thirst —
It's priceless, yet it's not hard to come by…

Whosoever believes in the name of Jesus,
Rivers of living water from their belly will flow;
While in the knowledge of Jesus the Lord —
In faith and in love and in His grace they grow.

Christians live with Him in the Kingdom of God;
In a good, fertile land, not a desert like before.
The Holy Spirit lives inside their hearts now —
And they will thirst nevermore, nevermore.

In a heart that has been redeemed by the Lord
The Holy Spirit works through God's Word.
Believers are called to shine bright as lights;
To show the love of God to a dark, sinful world.

God's grace is always available to Christians
And His Holy Spirit, He shows them the way…
Inside believing hearts precious water wells up —
Is ever welling up to Life eternal, day by day.
