Help Me Find My Way

Come help me find my way, Lord—
I am lost and all alone.
I have wandered from Your path
to a place that is unknown.
I am calling out to You
in hopes You'll hear my voice.
I've travelled to a dark place—
'twas a very unwise choice.
I know I am not worthy
of Your loving, outstretched arms,
but, I'd be ever grateful
if You'd shelter me from harm.
I am asking for Your help—
I am crying out to You.
Please show me a clear path, Lord,
so that I may start anew.
