Found by Grace

Man lost in the middle of his fight
all alone as he proves that he is right,
frightened by the shadows of the night
scared he is not enough, is his plight.

Confused by expectations he perceives
too proud, he does not know what he believes,
empty inside by what his heart receives
twisted by the pretending his thought's weaves…

Leaving performance, he no longer strives
naked from all pretentions, he arrives
In the refuge of Christ's love, life derives
resting in God's grace is where his soul thrives.

Man found in the centre of God's heart
with Him alone, man should always start,
living free of sin's shadow, set apart
always enough, man's fear can now depart!
