Ode to the Church Meeting first in poetry contest
How we have yearned to meet as a body for worship these last 3 months under Covid - 19 restrictions.

Music has always been a go to for me in times of need. NF is one of those artists who has gotten me through many difficult times. I wrote this poem with 31 of his song titles incorporated within it (song titles are in all caps).

Careful little tongue
Lord, help me to say all that should be said, and not all that could be. Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

God has a specific plan for each one of us. He is pleased when we are faithful to our calling.

I sent this little poem to a friend who was in the final stages of cancer. Whatever our difficulty, cling to the knowledge God is there. He has not left you.

The divine nature of God is clearly reflected in His creation, so men are without excuse. If we look closely, we will recognize the power and grace of God in the world He has provided for us.

Don't Grow Up to be Babies

The root of the problem
So many things in life can cause us to become bitter. We often try to hide our bitterness but it's truly a sin we can't hide. The sooner we repent, the better.
