My Declaration Of Dependence
David acknowledged his dependence on God in 2 Samuel 22: 3, "The God of my rock; in Him will I trust; He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; Thou savest me from violence."

I'll See My Dad Again

Great-Grandpa's Old Flag

The Most Important Decision
King Agrippa failed to make the decision to accept Christ. We read in Acts 26: 28, "Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian."

Praise God For Our Great Savior!
John 3: 17, "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

Finding God's Strength In Our Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9, "And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

According To His Mercy
Titus 3: 5, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."

Yet I Will Rejoice In The Lord
After a list of life's problems in verse 17 of Habakkuk chapter 3, Habakkuk 3:18 says, "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation." A preacher at my church preached on this verse recently. It inspired me to write this poem.
